Our mission is to empower you to make a positive impact on the lives of your pets, and to help reduce the number of dogs having unwanted litters, which contributes to the growing crisis of animal homelessness.

Our Heart for Berkeley County Animals
Welcome! We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization established to support the needs of animals within Berkeley County SC. Our organization was created by animal loving volunteers to support the well-being of animals within our county. In the tradition of nonprofit Friends’ groups, we are stepping up to the challenge of supporting their collective efforts to find homes for the abandoned and surrendered animals of Berkeley County.
Our mission is simple:
• Educate the community about how they can help decrease the homeless animal population.
• Increase adoption rates.
• Provide medical assistance funding to help sick or injured animals.
